Question

What's the best sandwhich you have had in China?u

Did you have it in a restaurant (wahhhhhaaaa...) or did you make it yourself. If you made it yourself....what could you find here to make it good? &nb

I also think one of the greatest things we miss out when here is a real sandwich. It is lost on them what a sandwich really is.   If we were too do the same to one of their common dishes. we would just deep fry some rice and think that is what fried rice is. But no, we know its not   They dont get the ingredients right, or the proportions. Dont understand that bread is a staple and doesnt need a glaze of sugar.

Does 肉夹馍 count? It has bread and meat? Love them.

So far, the best I could muster was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  Oh, and I used toasted bread, haha.  Haven't really found anything resembling deli meats or cheeses at the local supermarket
