Foreign forest in the middle of China
With the coming of spring, Ling Xiaolin, the supervisor of Zhejiang University Helen Chinatefl Company Shenzhen Branch and the commissioner Zhang Junqian led a group of foreign teachers who come from the United States, Britain and other countries in planting their own trees in the Longhua Shanshuitianyuan Tourism Culture Garden on March 22th. It was the prelude of the outdoor activities of 2017 for Helen’s foreign teachers.
It was raining slowly with the rejuvenation of the earth. Accompanied by the staff of the garden, our foreign teachers carried tools, waved shovels and planted new saplings in the Tourism Culture Garden.
The foreign teachers are busy with their daily work. Now they got together, happily digging holes. After a while, a lot of planted saplings were standing in rows on the ground. Our foreign teachers also tied red ribbons in which they wrote their names and wishes to their trees. Colorful ribbons were fluttering in the warm spring breeze.
The teachers were in high spirits after the outdoor hard work. They used their mobile phones to take photos and record their work results. These pictures not only were precious records in their life, but also reflected the theme of participation in community activities in China.
The tree planting activity is aimed at helping our foreign teachers adapt themselves to the life in China and enhancing their consciousness of environmental protection. The activity also reflects the business idea of sustainable development of Helen Company. We hope our foreign teachers can adapt themselves better to the working and living in Shenzhen Bao’an District.
