Marketing Plan.

The Document concentrate on three major areas, which are as follows;
1. Overall Marketing Activities
2. Specific Activities for Distance Learning Programs
3. Specific Activities for Campus based Programs.

"University" is the term used for the organization for which the plan is being made.
"We" "Our" is the term used for Global Marketing Net Work
Services Provided by Global Marketing Net Work Without any charge.

1. Overall Marketing Activities

By "Overall Marketing Activities" We means the activities directed towards the growth of the whole organization primarily. Such activities do not specifically introduce the courses of the programs it just guides the public about the features and privileges of the Organization concerned.

First thing to do is to advertise the University. In this cohesive activity We will advertise the university in Pakistan, by using following methods;

Ø Development, Publishing and Distribution of introductory Broucher.

First step will be to introduce the University to Pakistani students and Public. For this We will develop an introductory broucher, mainly based on information provided by you. Than We will distribute that broucher alongwith the printed material (if any) supplied by the University itself, and a letter addressed to the personal address of students or parents/guardian.

For the distribution purposes We will collect the names and addresses of the students through its own resources.

Expected Results:

This will be an introductory stage activity. People will be given information that a prestigious university is going to launch its courses in Pakistan.

This activity is expected to generate a good impression of the University in the minds of students and general public. As the material will be posted with the names of the students or their parents, they will pay full attention to it.

Expected Cost:

This Activity will cost the following; (Suggested quantity 10,000)

There will be no charges for collecting the names of the students and distributing the brouchers, as We will provide these services through our own resources.

Ø Advertising through Newspapers, Magazines and other print media

In this step Our efficient and skilled staff will develop the paper media advertisements and slogans which will be advertised through leading newspapers of the country.

Expected Results;

As paper advertisement always gives instant results and feedback. It is expected that this activity will generate lot of inquiries and demand for the university in Pakistani education market.

Arranging Student Meetings.

Meetings with the students will be arranged. In these meetings students will be told about the benefits they can have in University. Emphasis will be on the Benefits of foreign studies and mainly on the features of the University. For invitation purposes an invitation card will be published and posted to students at their personal addresses.

Expected Results:

This activity is rated well fertile among the international student recruitment agencies. The meetings will be focused on student problems also so it will generate lot of demand and enquiries.

Expected Cost:

The cost for this activity ranges from US$ 1,500/- to US$ 5,000/-, depending on the venues, Number of students invited, and facilities offered at conference hall. The invitation card developing, publishing and distribution charges will be US$ 500/- approx.

Contact with the Admin Managers/Principals of the Educational Institutes in Pakistan.

The purpose of this activity is to introduce the University to the local educationists. It will also concentrate on University#s future dealings with the local institutes, such as transferring credits etc.

Expected Results:

The activity will fully introduce the university in local market and a favourable impression will be achieved. This will also help in growth of the University’s international exposure.

Expected Cost:

The minor costs of traveling will apply. We will not charge any charges for convincing activities.

2. Specific Activities for Distance Learning Programs.

These Activities are mainly concerned with the Distance Learning Programs offered by University (if any). As such type of programs are very useful to get maximum students without much botheration, so are strongly recommended.


Contact with the Head of Educational Institutions.

During this activity We will contact the Principals/ Admin Officers of the leading educational institutions in Pakistan. The purpose will be to create a liaison between University and them. We will try to convince them to offer tuition/coaching classes for the distance learning programs, as the students will not be able to prepare for examinations by themselves.

We will try our best to also arrange the meetings and advertisement of courses offered, through local institutions# own funds.

Expected Results:

As this activity involves the interest of both the local institutions and University, it is expected to generate big market for University courses in Pakistan. Different colleges will be engaged in providing the tuition/coaching for university programs, this will increase in the worth of university.

Expected Cost:

There will be no additional charges for this activity, as We will provide this service in our resident cities by our own way.

Advertising through News papers and other print media

As described above in Overall Marketing Activities.

3. Specific Activities for Campus based Programs.
